'Dancing with the Stars' Season Premiere Grows Dramatically Over Three Days - Jumping to 8 Million Total Viewers and a 1.79 Rating Among Adults 18-49

Show Scores Record-Breaking Views on Streaming for Season Debut

· After three days of viewing on ABC, Hulu, Disney+ and digital platforms, the "Dancing with the Stars" Season 34 premiere jumped to 8.13 million Total Viewers and a 1.79 rating among Adults 18-49, scoring the show's best telecast since the 2020-2021 season.

· Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, the high-energy premiere grew by double digits over the show's Season 33 premiere in both Total Viewers (+18% - 8.13 million vs. 6.91 million) and Adults 18-49 (+58% - 1.79 rating vs. 1.13 rating).

· The premiere also outpaced the show's Season 33 average by +19% among Total Viewers (vs. 6.86 million) and by +52% among Adults 18-49 (vs. 1.18 rating).

· The "Dancing with the Stars" Season 34 premiere set a streaming record, hitting an all-time high for the series based on views after three days of streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

· In its season debut, "Dancing with the Stars" was the No. 1 most social television program of the night across broadcast and cable, earning 2.7 million total social interactions and rising by double digits over the Season 33 premiere (+58%; vs. 1.7 million).

· In addition, fan voting is off to a strong start with 21 million votes cast, representing a rise of +163% over last season's premiere episode (8 million votes).

"Dancing with the Stars" returns tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 23, for "One Hit Wonders Night" (airing at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT on ABC and Disney+, streaming next day on Hulu). The second episode of the season brings some of music's most iconic singles to the ballroom floor, when all 14 couples perform to songs from artists known for one unforgettable hit.
