DESCRIPTION: (from Netflix's press release, August 2026) Netflix has announced that filming has begun on Imperfect Mother, a new melodrama series starring Paolla Oliveira and Fabiula Nascimento, directed by Rogério Gomes, better known as Papinha, in his first project with Netflix. Filmed in Rio de Janeiro, the series focuses on human relationships shaped by moral dilemmas, difficult choices and the challenges of starting over.
