DESCRIPTION:
(from ESPN's web site) This season, ESPN gives viewers an unprecedented look into the mind and coaching style of the legendary Bob Knight. Fans get a chance to see this man up close, as an incredibly demanding coach as well as a dedicated teacher of the game he loves. On this reality series Knight School, Coach Knight gives 16 unsigned basketball players from Texas Tech a once-in-a-lifetime shot at a walk-on spot. Over the course of six intense episodes, 16 players are put through a gauntlet of fundamental basketball drills, grueling acts of physical conditioning both on and off the court, and intense scrimmages until there is only one player left standing. Some episodes include appearances by special guests who give the players some insight into the game - and the coach! As our contestants struggle to gain the approval of Coach Knight, you'll get to know each character in depth and become invested in seeing how far they get. Fifteen will experience the heartbreak of being cut by one of the most challenging coaches in the game but only one will earn the coveted slot on Coach Knight's Texas Tech team.
