DESCRIPTION:
(from Travel Channel's press release, October 2009) Imagine playing in the snow, seeing the New York skyline, or eating a Thanksgiving turkey, all for the first time. Beginning Sunday, November 29 with stacked episodes at 9PM and 10PM and premiering Sundays at 10PM through December 20, five tribesmen from the South Pacific island of Tanna will do just that when they embark on a 7,000 mile journey to assimilate to western civilization in Travel Channel's MEET THE NATIVES USA. Hand-picked by their supreme chief to undertake a special mission to America, the ambassadors from Tanna leave their traditional way of life behind to travel to the U.S. to learn more about American culture.
