DESCRIPTION:
(from Ovation TV's press release, November 2023) Ovation TV, America's premier arts network, announces the next thrilling series to air during its Mystery Alley destination on Saturday nights. The Silence is a BBC miniseries about a deaf 18-year-old struggling to find her place in a hearing world after being fitted with a cochlear implant. That process becomes life-threatening when she witnesses the murder of a policewoman, propelling the reluctant teen into a cacophony of police corruption, betrayal, drugs and murder. The four-part series starring Genevieve Barr, Douglas Henshall, Dervla Kirwan, Richie Campbell, Gina McKee, and Hugh Bonneville will debut on Ovation TV on Saturday, November 11th at 7pm ET. |
