(from ITV's press release, September 2026) AMC Global Media, ITV Studios and Constantin Film today announced that crime drama series Smilla's Sense of Snow will make its U.S. and Canadian debut on AMC+, marking the latest in a series of international distribution agreements secured by ITV Studios, which holds worldwide distribution rights for the production. The deal, brokered by Rob Kaplan, Senior Vice President of Sales for the U.S. and Latin America at ITV Studios, further demonstrates the broad international appeal of the series, which is based on one of the most widely recognised works of Scandinavian literature, and underlines both Constantin Film's reputation as a producer and ITV Studios' continued strength as a distributor of premium content in key global markets.
