[06/03/11 - 04:16 PM] Video: A Few Minutes With... "Teen Wolf's" Crystal Reed & Tyler Posey By Jim Halterman (TFC)
Taking a step away from their popular reality series "Jersey Shore" and "The Real World," MTV ventures into scripted territory this weekend with "Teen Wolf," a darker version of the 1985 comedy film starring Michael J. Fox (and 1987 sequel starring Jason Bateman). In the 12-episode thriller, created by Jeff Davis, "Teen Wolf" follows Scott McCall (played by Tyler Posey) who begins as an outsider but, once bitten by a werewolf, experiences a transformation in every area of his life making him not only more powerful but more desirable to new girl in town Allison (Crystal Reed).
However, this metamorphosis is not without bumps in the road and, as our Jim Halterman found out during a press day in Hollywood last week, the cast and crew is up to any challenging task whether that means a healthy amount of blood and gore or the inevitable comparisons to "Twilight" and "The Vampire Diaires." In the following videos, Jim sat down with Davis and Director/Executive Producer Russell Mulcahy as well as stars Posey, Reed, Holland Roden (bad girl Lydia), Colton Haynes (jock Jackson) and Tyler Hoechlin (Derek, Scott's werewolf guide).
