[04/19/12 - 10:25 AM] Video: A Few Minutes With... "American Horror Story" Co-Star Dylan McDermott By Jim Halterman (TFC)
Wednesday night at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood, the cast and creative team behind FX's hit series "American Horror Story" assembled for a panel to chat about the horror series's first season and see if creator Ryan Murphy would give any teases on this fall's second season. During the panel, Murphy, sitting alongside co-creator Brad Falchuk and Executive Producer Dante Di Loreto, did say that new cast member Adam Levine ("The Voice") would be playing a "really gritty part" in the new season and that he'll be with a girl and "they play characters called The Lovers." Murphy also confirmed that the second season will be an entirely new set of characters, location and time period and the returning actors - Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe and Evan Peters - would be playing the opposite of the characters they played in season one. He added that there would not be any mention of season one.
Our Jim Halterman was on the red carpet to chat with Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Lange, Peters, Rabe, Quinto and Denis O'Hare prior to the panel to find out more about their experience filming the show and what many of them are up to during their hiatus.
