While the new singing competition series, "Duets," has been giving ABC some ratings pride since its debut, there has been a little shake-up with one of the Superstar/contestant pairings set up in the premiere. John Legend had picked singer Johnny Gray to work with but Gray unexpectedly left the show after the first episode for unknown personal reasons. Legend was able to fill the void and introduced new contestant Meleana Brown at the recent "Duets" press day. Besides Brown, Legend is also mentoring singer Bridget Carrington and battling fellow Superstars Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles for a recording deal with Hollywood Records.
Our Jim Halterman was present during the press day to chat with Legend, Brown and Carrington about their experience thus far on the show.
