While it may seem that ABC's "Last Man Standing" is getting into the holiday spirit with tonight's episode, "Putting a Hit On Christmas," the truth is that Mike (Tim Allen) and Vanessa (Nancy Travis) decide that the holidays might be easier if they are alone and work to make sure their kids have other plans. Without spoiling the outcome, the episode is full of the kind of balance of comedy and heartfelt-ness that the show has helped it become a Friday night hit.

The "Last Man Standing" cast is clearly having a good time putting the show together as they displayed on a recent visit to the set in Studio City. During their time talking to the press, the men - Christoph Sanders, Allen and Hector Elizondo - and the women - Molly Ephraim, Kaitlyn Dever, Amanda Fuller and Travis - spoke of the dynamics of the cast, working on the holiday episode and Allen reflected on how things have changed in the TV world since his last hit series, "Home Improvement."
