This tongue-in-cheek exposé into a comedic secret society comes fresh on the heels of last Thursday's announcement that NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises will launch Seeso, a new comedy-focused streaming outlet in January 2016. Seeso today released its first consumer-facing teaser, with multiple vignettes to be rolled out in the coming months, featuring a handful of the talent who will be featured on the service in new original programming that will be available next year, including The UCB Show's Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts and Matt Besser; Tom Lennon from the upcoming reality show spoof "Bajillion Dollar Propertie$"; Dan Harmon, the creator and star of "HarmonQuest," and many more (series descriptions available for your reference below).
Last week, NBCUniversal Digital Enterprises unveiled Seeso, a new streaming comedy channel, the first of its kind offering from NBCUniversal. Set to debut in January 2016, the ad-free subscription service will be available at www.seeso.com and on streaming platforms, connected devices and other distribution partners for $3.99 per month. Targeting comedy super fans, Seeso will offer subscribers a stream of comedy programming updated with new content every day, new episodes of exclusive, original comedy each and every week, live-streamed stand-up every month, and curated acquired series and films throughout the year.
