"W/ Bob & David" - First Sketch Released From New Series
Today, Netflix released the first sketch titled "Resolutions" from W/ BOB & DAVID, the new sketch comedy series that reunities Bob Odenkirk and David Cross. The limited series premieres Friday, November 13 only on Netflix and consists of four half-hour episodes and an hour-long "making of" special.
Watch as a group of guys sit around a poker table and share their insane resolutions such as how they plan to make a big-budget blockbuster, run for pope, launch a successful cell phone company. The only reasonable resolution comes from Paul F. Tompkins that he's cutting out red meat to lower his cholesterol. Tompkins friends however are not supportive, and when they order pizza, they refuse to leave off the pepperoni and sausage.
Created by the Emmy-nominated Odenkirk and Cross, W/ BOB & DAVID combines taped segments and live in-studio sketches full of absurdist humor, social commentary and memorable characters such as Pope Jonah Abromowitz, the world's first elected freelance Pope, Gordie McIntosh the extra Beatle, digital soothsayer Shangy and hit country music duo Banes and Dunfrey among others.
