PEACOCK'S "VAMPIRE ACADEMY" TAKES A BITE OUT OF SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL COMIC-CON WITH THE RELEASE OF THE OFFICIAL TEASER AND FIRST-LOOK AT THE PREMIERE EPISODE

From the Creative Minds of Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre, the Highly Anticipated YA Supernatural Series Premieres Exclusively on Peacock Thursday, September 15

VAMPIRE ACADEMY SDCC PANEL

Today, Peacock sunk their teeth into San Diego International Comic-Con and surprised fans with an exclusive first look at the opening 15-minutes and official teaser of the much anticipated Original Series VAMPIRE ACADEMY during a live Q&A panel with over 1,000 attendees!

Showrunners and cast participated in 'Vampire Academy: A Glimpse Into the World of the Peacock Original Supernatural Series' panel at Hilton San Diego Bayfront, Indigo Ballroom, moderated by Entertainment Weekly's Sydney Bucksbaum and featured panelists including: Julie Plec (Showrunner/Writer/Executive Producer/Director), Marguerite MacIntyre (Showrunner/Writer/Executive Producer), Daniela Nieves ("Lissa Dragomir"), Sisi Stringer ("Rose Hathaway"), Kieron Moore ("Dimitri Belikov"), and Andre Dae Kim ("Christian Ozera").

'Vampire Academy' is based on the international bestselling book series - a story of friendship, romance and danger. In a world of privilege and glamour, two young women's friendship transcends their strikingly different classes as they prepare to complete their education and enter vampire society. One as a powerful Royal, the other a half-vampire Guardian trained to protect against the savage 'Strigoi' who threaten to tear their society apart. That is, if Royal infighting doesn't do the job first.

The series from Universal Television will premiere the first four episodes on Peacock on September 15, with new episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays.
