Prime Video Drops Exclusive Season Three Opening Scene of "The Wheel of Time"

The epic fantasy series' third season premieres March 13, 2025 on Prime Video

CULVER CITY, California - February 20, 2025 - Prime Video just exclusively revealed the thrilling 11-minute opening scene for the upcoming third season of The Wheel of Time on the platform. This special sneak peek is now available at the end of the third episode of the Season Three premiere of Reacher, which also debuted today. The Wheel of Time, which will premiere globally on Prime Video on March 13, 2025, is based on Robert Jordan's best-selling and epic fantasy book series of the same name, and is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.

The explosive 11-minute opening scene of The Wheel of Time's new season features a dynamic magical showdown between good and evil. The Sorceresses who have secretly sworn themselves to the Dark One shockingly reveal themselves, and initiate a vicious and bloody battle that will forever change the fate of the world.

Season Three's storylines are primarily based on the fan-favorite fourth book of Jordan's series, "The Shadow Rising." In addition to Tar Valon, the season will take viewers to many new regions and cities across the fictional continent of the Westlands, including the vast deserts of the Aiel Waste, the intoxicating and dangerous port city of Tanchico, and the forbidden and fog-shrouded ancient city of Rhuidean.

Season Three of The Wheel of Time will premiere with the first three episodes, with additional new episodes streaming each week thereafter until the riveting season finale on April 17, 2025.
