AMC Networks released today the dark and thrilling trailer for season two of The Walking Dead: Dead City, teasing conflicted connections and ruthless new villains, all looking to gain control of the concrete jungle. Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan as fan-favorite characters "Negan" and "Maggie," the new season will debut Sunday, May 4 at 9:00 pm ET on AMC and AMC+.
The Walking Dead: Dead City follows the popular Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) characters traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. In season two, in the growing war for control of New York City, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides. As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.
The series also stars Gaius Charles, Ċ½eljko Ivanek, Mahina Anne Marie Napoleon, Lisa Emery, Logan Kim, Dascha Polanco and Kim Coates, amongst others.
