While being led to La Quebrada prison, Gladys Guerra "la Borges" and a group of inmates with no prior history in the prison world experience a difficult situation that will unite them forever. In the Mud chronicles the transformation of this group of inmates who must face life in prison, struggling against the adversity of the prison regime, facing the challenge of finding their own place, fighting for rights and benefits, and resisting the oppression of the different "tribes" that run the prison's daily life. Without intending to, they will become "The Muddy Ones."
