Hometown Giants premieres globally October 16 on Prime Video

TORONTO - September 28, 2026 - Today, Prime Video unveiled the premiere date and trailer for new hockey docuseries Hometown Giants. Following global music icon Michael Bublé and TV personality and entrepreneur Drew Scott as part-owners of the Western Hockey League's Vancouver Giants, the series offers an unprecedented look at the high-stakes world of major junior hockey. Blending the drama of elite-level competition with deeply personal coming-of-age stories, all six episodes of Hometown Giants are available on Friday, October 16, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Hometown Giants follows the 2025-26 season inside the Vancouver Giants franchise as owners Bublé and Scott set out to restore a team that hasn't won a championship since 2007. With a new coach and General Manager leading the way, the series captures the bold front-office decisions, roster-shaping trades, and high-pressure moments that define a season on the edge.

For the players, hockey is only part of the story.
