Adult Swim Earns Double-Digit Gains Among Adults, Men & Women 18-24 vs. 2005 Performance
Claims #1 Ranking Among Basic Cable for Total Day Delivery, Ratings Among Young Adults; Charts More Programs in the Adults 18-34 Top 50 for the Week Than Any Other Network
Adult Swim improved upon its performance last year by scoring double-digit delivery and ratings gains among adults 18-24, men 18-24 and women 18-24, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The late-night network once again ranked #1 for total day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-24, the latter demo for 72 straight weeks. Adult Swim also claimed 10 of the top 50 programs of the week among adults 18-34, more than any other basic cable network.
Highlights of Adult Swim�s performance vs. the same 2005 time period include the following:
ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, 10:30 p.m.-6 a.m.; Saturday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m.; Sunday, 10 p.m.-6 a.m.)
- Adults 18-24 delivery (235,000) increased by 14%, and ratings (0.8) by 14%
- Men 18-24 delivery (157,000) jumped by 11%, and ratings (1.1) by 10%
- Adults 18-34 delivery (372,000) expanded by 3%, and ratings (0.6) were unchanged
- Men 18-34 delivery (227,000) and ratings (0.7) both were unchanged
- Women 18-34 delivery (144,000) advanced by 7%, and ratings (0.4) were unchanged
- Women 18-24 delivery (79,000) and ratings (0.6) both improved by 20%
