New York, NY - April 16, 2007 Expanding its presence in the wireless space, SCI FI today announced the debut of its SCI FI Mobile WAP site, as part of the overall marketing campaign for the debut of Painkiller Jane on Friday, April 13th at 10 pm (ET/PT). A leader in digital and wireless content delivery, SCI FI makes exclusive programming available to consumers via handheld devices such as video-enabled mobile phones and blackberries via the new WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) site, Mobile.SciFi.com. At launch Mobile.SciFi.com will deliver Painkiller Jane content directly to fans, engaging them in a rich interactive real-time mobile experience. All Painkiller Jane programming, downloadable ring tones and wallpaper will be available to consumers free of charge as part of SCI FI's ongoing commitment to providing audiences with a 360 programming experience that cuts across multiple platforms. The site will be accessible via all handheld device carriers and will include exclusive content, games, blogs, live feed-driven menus, SMS alerts, and text-to-friend features for real time content sharing.

"With the launch of SCI FI Mobile, the Channel takes another leap forward in creating an innovative and interactive programming environment that our audiences have come to expect from us," said Adam Stotsky, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Creative, SCI FI Channel. Dynamic show clips, interviews, promos and more.

Based on the comic book created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, Painkiller Jane is the story of Jane Vasko (Kristana Loken), a DEA agent who is recruited by a covert government organization tasked with capturing "Neuros" - genetically-enhanced individuals who possess superhuman powers of the mind. During the course of her first investigation with the team, Jane inexplicably discovers that she too possesses extraordinary abilities - abilities that render her impervious to injury. . .but not pain. As she continues to work with the government to hunt Neuros, Jane tries to uncover the cause of her own transformation and what - if any - connection she shares with the very people she is pursuing.
