WE tv Continues to Expand Original Series Programming Slate With Girl Meets Cowboy

New Series Attracts Match.com as a Sponsor Looking to Target Women

New York, NY - May 7, 2007 - Building on the momentum of WE tv's increased original programming slate, the network announced today Girl Meets Cowboy, a new original series featuring a group of city-girls displaced into the rural country to rough it out while competing to win the heart of their fantasy man. Match.com, the number one dating and relationship company, has signed on to sponsor the 6 one-hour episodes. Their ad buy reinforces a committed investment in the network with previous sponsorships that have included Cinematherapy: Never Been Kissed, Single in the City: South Beach, 3 Men & A Chick Flick: Honeymoon in Vegas, Kiss and Tell, The Things WE Do For Love movie marathon, and 3 Men & A Chick Flick: Dirty Dancing.

"We look forward to expanding our relationship with Match.com for WE tv's newest series Girl Meets Cowboy. Their commitment to the network reinforces WE's value of providing sponsorship packages that make sense for advertisers looking to target their brand to a wide ranging audience of women," said Arlene Manos, President Rainbow national network advertising sales. "This series is a perfect fit for Match.com as, like the online dating site, Girl Meets Cowboy is also about finding the best person to fit with."

"WE tv is a content destination delivering fun and entertaining programming that connects women to what is important to them personal style, relationships and pop-culture," said Kim Martin, EVP and General Manager for WE tv. "This series joins a growing line-up of already popular original shows, and continues to position WE as a premiere destination for relevant, fun and engaging programming designed for today's modern women."

"For more than a decade, Match.com has been creating new romantic opportunities for single people and providing them with the tools and advice they need to find loving, lasting relationships," said Jane Thompson, Senior Vice President, Global Mergers and Acquisitions and Business Development for Match.com. "Our sponsorship with WE tv and its new original series Girl Meets Cowboy provides an effective and entertaining way for us to show consumers our commitment to making the search for love as simple as possible."

As part of the sponsorship agreement, WE tv integrated Match.com within the series by providing each woman, who is packing up to leave "The Ranch", with a free three month certificate to the dating site, providing them with a glimpse of hope to continue the search for "Mr. Right." Match.com will also be featured in tagged tune-in spots and billboards.

Girl Meets Cowboy features a group of big city women who are brought to rural America where cowboys and their way of life rule. Each episode features six groups of women who have been relocated to a fabulous Western locale like a pine tree covered valley in Idaho or a ranch surrounded by the high desert plateaus of rocks of Colorado, where they will be greeted by a their American Cowboy. As an added twist to the competition, each of these groups of women will be tied together by a common connection - be it work, friendships and even blood relations. To win the heart of their American Cowboy, the women will need to survive in less than desirable living conditions as well as endure a variety of country-life challenges to see if they have what it takes to win the man of their dreams.
