SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 18 -- GSN's stable of hosts for
its late night participation TV programming block, PLAYMANIA, has grown and
now includes Shandi Finnessey, Jessica York, Jeff Thisted and Angelle
Tymon. "100 Winners" and "quiznation" can be seen Tuesday through Sundays
from 12:00 to 2:00 AM, ET. Thisted, who also works on "The Price is Right,"
makes his debut on Friday, May 18 as part of a special tribute to Bob
Barker's contribution to television game shows.
"quiznation" features a variety of letter, number and word games;
trivia games and more for viewers to call in with their answers for cash
and prizes. "100 Winners" allows contestants who answer trivia and game
questions correctly to choose from one of 100 safe deposit boxes from the
GSN vault, each containing a hidden prize.
The hosts will all appear on both series. Finnessey is a former Miss
USA from 2004 and also co-hosts LINGO with Chuck Woolery. York can also be
seen on RSN and Tymon is a recent college graduate and was a member of the
behind-the-scenes team of PLAYMANIA.
Both "100 Winners" and "quiznation" are produced by Game Show
Enterprises in conjunction with the U.K.'s Optimistic Media.
