UTAH COUPLE AND SOUTH CAROLINA WOMAN ARE WINNERS OF "AFHV" DREAM VACATION SWEEPSTAKES GRAND PRIZE
Jeff and Cristie (cq) Walk of West Jordan, UT, and at-home viewer entrant Gwen T. Alford of Bennettsville, SC were the winners of the "AFHV" Dream Vacation Sweepstakes Grand Prize, as "America's Funniest Home Videos" had its 17th Season Finale May 18 on the ABC Television Network.
The Walks, who were finalists in the competition for their award-winning video of their pug dog, Sassy, were the winners of the ultimate Disney dream vacation Grand Prize for four. The Grand Prize vacation begins at the Disneyland� Resort with a stay in the new Mickey Mouse Penthouse at the Disneyland Hotel. Next, the lucky winners will sail away aboard a Disney Cruise Line� ship to the Bahamas and Disney's Castaway Cay. Final destination will be a trip to the Walt Disney World� Resort, where the winners will spend a night in the newly-created Cinderella Castle Suite inside the Magic Kingdom� Park. Gwen Alford was the lucky viewer entrant selected to win an identical vacation.
In its 17 seasons to date, "America's Funniest Home Videos" has given away over $9 million in prize money and evaluated more than half a million videotapes from home viewers. Viewers wishing to submit home videos to "America's Funniest Home Videos" should visit www.abc.com for details.
Vin Di Bona is executive producer, with Todd Thicke and Michele Nasraway serving as co-executive producers. "America's Funniest Home Videos," which premiered on January 14, 1990 and is from Vin Di Bona Productions, airs with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.
