ABC FAMILY ANNOUNCES CASTING FOR "UNTITLED BRENDA HAMPTON PROJECT" WHICH IS SET TO PREMIERE THIS SUMMER

Molly Ringwald, John Schneider and Ernie Hudson as well as teen breakout actress Shailene Woodley are set to star

Burbank, CA (April 2, 2008) � ABC Family has announced casting for its as yet "Untitled Brenda Hampton Project," by the creator of "7th Heaven." Molly Ringwald ("Pretty in Pink"), John Schneider ("Smallville") and Ernie Hudson ("Oz") are among the cast, including newcomer Shailene Woodley ("The O.C.").

This heartfelt one hour drama focuses on the relationships between families and friends and how they deal with an unexpected teen pregnancy. The series regular cast includes Shailene Woodley ("The O.C.") as Amy Nicholson, Kenny Baumann as Ben, Daren Kagasoff as Ricky, Francia Raisa ("The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream") as Adrian, Greg Finley as Jack, Megan Park as Grace Johnson, India Eisley as Ashley Nicholson, Jorge-Luis Pallo as Mark Green and Molly Ringwald as Anne Nicholson.
