Rookie Year Success of Lifetime Television's 'How to Look Good Naked' Propels Popular Reality Series to Second Season Renewal

Hosted by Carson Kressley, Program Will Return With Eight All-New One-Hour Episodes in July

LOS ANGELES, April 1, 2008 -- Just weeks after its first season finale, Lifetime Television has already renewed "How to Look Good Naked." The series, which debuted as the network's most-watched reality premiere ever among W18-34 and W18-49, will return for a second run beginning in July with eight all-new episodes while expanding to a one-hour format, it was announced today by Susanne Daniels, President, Entertainment, Lifetime Networks.

The series, which averaged 1.1 million P2+, soared among younger viewers, improving the W18-34 year ago time period by 53 percent and rising 11 percent in W18-49 delivery. The critically acclaimed series was also featured in February for an entire episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Said Daniels, "This heartwarming series succeeds because it shows women they should accept, and even flaunt their healthy bodies, whatever shape or or type they are, without resorting to plastic surgery or extreme diets," Adding, "The new one-hour format allows us to mix things up each week with more in- depth back stories, home visits, unique rotating experts and surprise reveals, just to name a few. Our audience fell in love with the witty and wonderful Carson Kressley, and we're looking forward to him returning to undress America one woman at a time."

"How To Look Good Naked" is both an internal and external makeover show that in just five days teaches women of all shapes and sizes to embrace exactly who they are -- no matter whether that woman may feel she is too heavy, too short, too tall or just too unhappy with what she's seeing in the mirror. In each episode, sharing his secrets from the world of fashion and beauty, host Carson Kressley guides each woman through a variety of activities, such as learning to dress appropriately for her body type, choosing the correct undergarments and understanding the right way to style her hair and make-up, ultimately helping to change her own self image, seeing her true self and loving the body she's already got.

Lifetime's summer of 2008 begins in June when the smash hit drama "Army Wives" kicks off its second season on Sunday, June 8, at 10PM (ET/PT).

"How to Look Good Naked" is produced by RDF USA ("Wife Swap") and Maverick TV, Ltd. and Axiel Entertainment for Lifetime Television. Riaz Patel, Chris Coelen, Greg Goldman, Alex Fraser, Jim Sayer and Jo Rosenfelder serve as executive producer. Carson Kressley and Tony Yates are co-executive producers.
