'Finish Line' to Premiere in HD Under the 'Playbook Movies' Umbrella

NEW YORK, April 7, 2008 -- Scott Baio ("Scott Baio Is 46...And Pregnant"), Samuel Page ("American Dreams") and Taylor Cole ("Summerland") star in the Spike original movie, "Finish Line," premiering on Monday, April 21 from 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on Spike TV. "Finish Line" premieres in HD and is slated under the "Playbook Movies" umbrella.

"Finish Line" is a fast-paced, heart-pounding action film about a stock car driver whose desperate need for money leads him to unknowingly work for an arms dealer, putting himself and those close to him in danger. Mitch's (Page) dream of becoming a NASCAR driver is cut short when he demolishes his car in a race. Desperately in need of money to fix his car, he accepts a shady offer for fast cash to be a mechanic and personal body guard for millionaire importer Frank Chase (Baio) and his sexy daughter Jessie (Cole). Mitch quickly realizes that Frank's deal is too good to be true when he witnesses a murder on the property. In order to keep himself and his family out of danger, Mitch must work with the FBI to infiltrate Frank's illegal arms operation and bring him down once and for all.

RHI Entertainment presents an Alpine Medien Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions produced in association with Grand Army Entertainment, LLC. "Finish Line" is directed by Gerry Lively, written by Ron McGee and produced by Randy Pope. Robert Halmi, Jr. and Larry Levinson serve as executive producers.
