DIRTY SEXY MONEY (ABC) - Jon Harmon Feldman ("Big Shots") is set to take over the showrunning duties on the upcoming season of the sophomore drama. He'll replace Daniel Cerone, who in turn took over for Josh Reims. No reason was given for the change, other than industry insiders suggesting Cerone wasn't a good fit. Feldman will be given the reins starting with the fourth episode of the season following a brief production hiatus. As for Cerone, he'll move on to developing new projects for the studio via his overall deal.
GOSSIP GIRL (The CW) - Madchen Amick ("Viva Laughlin") has landed a multi-episode arc on the show's second season. She'll play Catherine Mason, who's described in the casting notice as follows: "Late 30s-40. Gorgeous model turned Upper East Side wife. A stunning woman who knows exactly how to use her sexuality to manipulate every situation. She does not let the often lonely life of an Upper East Side wife keep her from anything (and anyone) she wants." It's understood Amick's character is being pegged as a love interest for Nate (Chace Crawford).
SMALLVILLE (The CW) - Former TV Guide staffer Michael Ausiello reports via his blog that Sam Witwer ("Battlestar Galactica") and Cassidy Freeman ("Austin Golden Hour") have been tapped as new recurring villains Doomsday and Tess respectively. Producers announced back in May (read the story) it planned to add said characters following the departure of Michael Rosenbaum from the series. Separately, Ausiello (who's moving on to Entertainment Weekly) reports that Camille Guaty ("Prison Break") has joined the cast of ABC's "Cupid" revival. She'll play Lita, the sexy sister of Rick Gomez's character Felix.
