Branded, Short-Form "CWickies" Airing During Commercial Breaks Direct Viewers to CWTV.com to Enter to Win

Burbank, CA (September 22, 2008) - Marking the largest sweepstakes in the network's history, The CW and Honda have formed a strategic partnership to offer viewers a chance to win a brand new 2009 Honda Fit on every night of The CW's primetime from Monday, Sept. 29 through Friday, Oct. 2.

"One of our primary goals in developing these innovative promotions is to create opportunities for us and our advertisers to form strong, interactive relationships with the fans and drive viewers to The CW," said Alison Tarrant, Senior Vice President, Integrated Sales and Marketing. "We're thrilled to partner with Honda for what is easily our biggest promotion ever, and the new 2009 Fit is the perfect product for our on-air environment since the brand attitude is so relevant to The CW audience."

Beginning Monday, Sept. 29, viewers watching The CW's popular original series will see a specially produced "CWickie" featuring the 2009 Honda Fit during the commercial breaks. Viewers will then be directed to www.cwtv.com where they will answer a question about the specific Honda Fit spot that aired that same night. Viewers who answer the question correctly will be entered into the drawing to win a 2009 Honda Fit. One Honda Fit will be given away to one winner on each of the five nights of the sweepstakes.

Customized for every night of the campaign, the short-form, on-air spots showcasing the sweepstakes will each incorporate the 2009 Honda Fit into an environment specific to that night's CW programming, such as "Gossip Girl" or "One Tree Hill" on Monday night.

Unique to The CW, "CWickies" are sponsored, short-form entertainment content that airs during commercial breaks of CW programming, providing clients with an alternate to traditional 30-second commercial.
