CBS STREAKS TO ITS SIXTH CONSECUTIVE WEEKLY WIN AND 23RD OF THE SEASON

CBS Continues as the Only Network Posting Across-the-Board Increases Over Last Year

All of CBS's 10:00 PM Scripted Series Win Their Time Periods

CBS Has the Top Four Scripted Series Led by "NCIS" and "The Mentalist" For the Fourth Straight Week

CBS Scores Demo Win on Monday with the "NCAA Men's Basketball Championship"

A Masterful Sunday Leads CBS to its Seventh Consecutive Sunday Win

CBS streaked to its sixth consecutive weekly win in viewers and 23rd of 29 weeks this season and continues as the only network posting year-to-year gains in all key measures, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 12, week 29 of the 2008-2009 television season.

All of CBS's 10:00 PM scripted series (WITHOUT A TRACE, CSI: NY, HARPER'S ISLAND, NUMB3RS and THE UNIT) placed first in viewers. CBS also claimed the top four scripted series led by NCIS and THE MENTALIST for the fourth straight week.

Season-to-date versus last year, CBS is up +13% in viewers, +7% in adults 18-49 and +8% in adults 25-54, the only network to show gains in any of these measures.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.43m), FOX (9.03m), ABC (7.72m) and NBC (6.23m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.86m), ahead of FOX (9.68m), ABC (8.93m) and NBC (8.05m).

For the week in households: CBS (7.0/12), FOX (5.4/09), ABC (4.9/08) and NBC (4.0/07). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.4/12), ahead of both ABC and FOX (5.7/09, each) and NBC (4.9/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (3.8/10, -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09). Season-to-date, CBS and FOX are tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10, each) while CBS is second in adults 18-49 (3.3/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

-- On Monday, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (5.4/13), adults 18-49 (4.9/13), adults 18-34 (4.0/11), men 25-54 (6.6/16), men 18-49 (6.0/16) and men 18-34 (4.8/14) while second in households (8.4/13) and viewers (13.74m).

? NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME "Michigan St. vs. North Carolina" (S) (9:15-11:54PM) posted a 10.8/18 in households with 17.65m viewers, 6.9/17 in adults 25-54, 8.8/22 in men 25-54, 6.3/16 in adults 18-49, 8.1/22 in men 18-49, 5.4/15 in adults 18-34 and 6.7/20 in men 18-34. CBS led the 9-11PM time period in households, viewers and key adult and men demos.

Nielsen Media Research reports that 41.2m viewers watched all or part of Monday's game. 128.9m viewers watched all or part of the Tournament on CBS this year.

? NCIS was second in households (10.9/17), viewers (17.81m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10). Compared to last week, NCIS was up +1% in households (from 10.7/17), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09), even in adults 25-54 and added +320,000 viewers (from 17.23m, +2%).

? THE MENTALIST was first in households (10.3/16), viewers (16.92m) and adults 25-54 (5.2/11). THE MENTALIST topped "Dancing with the Stars" by +13% in households (vs. 9.1/13), +18% in adults 25-54 (vs. 4.4/10), +9% in adults 18-49 (3.6/09 vs. 3.3/08) and by +2.36m viewers (vs. 14.56m, +16%).

? WITHOUT A TRACE was first in households (7.9/13), viewers (12.15m), second in adults 25-54 (3.7/09, -0.1 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07).

? CSI: NY was first in households (7.9/13), viewers (12.50m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). Compared to the last first-run episode (on 3/25/09), CSI: NY was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 4.0/10) and +10% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/06).

--On Thursday, CBS was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (12.76m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.3/10, with NBC).

? SURVIVOR: TOCANTINS was first in households (6.6/12), viewers (11.24m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (10.1/17), viewers (16.63m), adults 25-54 (5.3/13) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10). Compared to last week, CSI was up +11% in households (from 9.1/14), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 5.0/11), even in adults 18-49 and added +2.00m viewers (from 14.63m, +14%).

? HARPER'S ISLAND (P) was first in households (6.5/11), viewers (10.21m), second in both adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/08). Compared to last week's ELEVENTH HOUR season finale, HARPER'S ISLAND was up +9% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/09) and +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/07).

? GHOST WHISPERER was first in households (6.2/12), viewers (10.08m) adults 25-54 (3.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.5/09).

? FLASHPOINT was first in households (5.9/11), viewers (9.77m), adults 25-54 (2.7/08) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06). Compared to last week, FLASHPOINT was up +11% in households (from 5.3/09), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/06) and added +1.00m viewers (from 8.77m, +11%).

? NUMB3RS was first in households (5.9/11), viewers (9.80m) adults 25-54 (3.0/09) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). Compared to the last first run episode (March 13, 2009), NUMB3RS was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/07), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/06) and added +270,000 (from 9.53m, +3%).

-- CBS was first Sunday in households (7.0/12), viewers (11.96m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). CBS won seven consecutive Sundays in viewers, four in a row in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

CBS's 38-minutes of the MASTERS in primetime averaged a 9.3/20 with 16.71m viewers, 5.4/18 in adults 25-54 and 4.2/16 in adults 18-49.

? 60 MINUTES SPECIAL (S) (7:38-8:38PM) delivered a 7.6/14 with 12.83m viewers, 3.7/10 in adults 25-54 and 2.7/08 in adults 18-49 � first in these measures from 7:30-8:30PM.
