COMMUNITY (NBC) - "Scrubs" alums Garrett Donovan and Neil Goldman have inked a two-year, mid-seven-figure overall deal with Universal Media Studios. The pact calls for the duo to serve as executive producers on the freshman comedy "Community." There they'll serve alongside creator Dan Harmon and fellow executive producers Russ Krasnoff and Gary Foster. Universal is co-producing "Community" alongside Sony Pictures Television, who was behind the pilot. In addition to "Scrubs," Donovan and Goldman also served as executive producers on CBS's "Worst Week" for nine of the show's initial 13 episodes.
FIND MY FAMILY (ABC, New!) - Tom Forman ("Extreme Makeover: Home Edition") is developing a new reality series at the Alphabet which follows the stories of people desperate to find a long-lost friend or relative. The project, which is set up at RDF USA, is based on a Dutch property that is now a huge hit in Australia. Former NFL linebacker Tim Green has been tapped to host the pilot alongside former KTTV and KCBS entertainment reporter Lisa Joyner, both of whom were adopted and eventually found their birth parents. Said installment featured three stories, including one about "a man who's looking for his birth parents because his son is about to be deployed to Afghanistan -- and he wants to give his son a full family medical history." Forman is executive producing the hour via his RelativityReal banner alongside Julie Laughlin-Jones and RDF's Greg Goldman, Chris Coelen and Tony Yates.
NUMB3RS (CBS) - Showrunner Ken Sanzel has signed a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with CBS Television Studios. The pact covers his duties on the veteran Friday night drama as well as calls for him to develop new series projects for the studio.
