JOSEPH FREED AND SHANE FARLEY NAMED CO-EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS OF CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTIONS RACHAEL RAY

New York, NY, June 25th, 2009 -Television veterans Joseph Freed and Shane Farley both have been promoted to Co-Executive Producer of the Emmy Award-winning talk show RACHAEL RAY, it was announced today by Executive Producer Janet Annino, to whom they report.

For the past three seasons, Freed served as Senior Supervising Producer at RACHAEL RAY, while Farley was Supervising Producer. In their new roles, they will share responsibility for overseeing all the creative and administrative aspects of production for the daytime show, which launches its fourth season on September 14th.

"Joseph and Shane have shown strong and creative leadership since they joined Rachael'," Annino said. "I am very excited to have them alongside me as co-executive producers as we all take on our 4th season."

Said host Rachael Ray, "I am thrilled that both Joseph and Shane have received promotions on a show they helped turn into the success it is today. It is obvious that they love what they do. My name is on the door' as they say, but I know it takes a great team to make Rachael Ray' work and these guys are key to creating an entertaining experience for our viewers."

Freed and Farley came to the show with more than 15 years experience producing award-winning, creative and engaging television programming. After eight years as a producer and director at "Entertainment Tonight," Freed broke into original reality programming, by developing and executive producing TLC's hit series, "Little People, Big World," with Gay Rosenthal Productions. He has also produced reality programming for Travel Channel, The Discovery Channel and Lifetime. At RACHAEL RAY, Freed was part of the team that won an Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment.

Farley's work has earned him three Outstanding Talk Show Daytime Emmy Awards for his efforts on RACHAEL RAY, and previously on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and "The Wayne Brady Show." Farley formerly was Co-Executive Producer of the Style Network's popular celebrity-based talk show "Isaac" and served as Supervising Producer of "The Tony Danza Show" and "The Wayne Brady Show."

Last season, RACHAEL RAY won the Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment Emmy and was recently nominated for four 2009 Daytime Emmys, including Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment. When it premiered three years ago, RACHAEL RAY had the highest-rated premiere for any first-run syndicated talk show since the 2002 launch of "Dr. Phil."

RACHAEL RAY, the Emmy Award-winning Outstanding Talk Show, is distributed and produced by CBS Television Distribution in association with Harpo Productions, Scripps Networks and Watch Entertainment. Janet Annino is executive producer. Joseph Freed and Shane Farley are co-executive producers. CBS Television Distribution is a unit of CBS Corp.
