Network and Show Sites Deliver Triple and Double Digit Growth Since OxygenLive Launch

NEW YORK, January 8, 2010 - After triple digit growth of OxygenLive during "Bad Girls Club" East Coast premieres, the groundbreaking real time destination will now will be offered to fans on the West Coast starting Tuesday, January 12 at 10 PM PT, announced Jason Klarman, General Manager, Oxygen Media. Leveraging the power of social and interactive media, Oxygen launched www.OxygenLive.com, for the premiere of the hit series on December 1. "Bad Girl" Kendra will help usher in the inaugural West Coast OxygenLive experience.

Since the OxygenLive launch, unique visitors for the social event are up 169% (11,700 vs. 4,300) from week one to week five, while the average time spent at OxygenLive is up 17% (5.99min vs. 5.14min). In regards to the experience's key components, there is 16% increase in comments logged (4,000 vs. 3,600), 124% more clicks on the tag cloud (2,200 vs. 1,000) and1,096% more clicks on the poll (60,000 vs. 5,000).

Oxygen.com and the "Bad Girls Club" show site also have benefited from the new social media experience. The network's page views for week five of the series has increased by 116% versus the season premiere day page views (1.97MM vs. 915,000) while the unique visitors on Oxygen.com have increased by 80% (82,000 vs. 46,000). Page Views for the show site are up 91% (1.2MM vs. 641,000), uniques are up 99% (63,000 vs. 31,000) and the video streams are up 163% (135,000 vs. 51,000). Also notable, the series has garnered over 90,000 Facebook fans as compared to 15,000 from the start of the season.

"The increase in OxygenLive users suggests that we are targeting and serving our viewers in a very meaningful way, which drives a positive impact on air and online," said Jen Kavanagh, Vice President, Digital and New Media, Oxygen. "We welcome our West Coast viewers to the party!"

"Based on these viewer trends, it is evident that there is a voracious appetite from fans to chat, text, IM, and Tweet about their favorite shows while they watch them live," said Jason Klarman. "Oxygen is witnessing a phenomena in television viewing behavior. Launching this social, interactive, real time experience that allows viewers to connect with the shows they love will further engage our West Coast audience, just as it has on the East Coast."

Through OxygenLive, fans no longer have to wait until the next morning to chat around the water cooler about the latest show gossip. Instead, OxygenLive is the first two-screen experience in which fans can socialize, interact and react with every episode in real time. Fans can chat live, post to Facebook and Twitter as well as read other fan posts and tweets (#badgirlsclub) all in one place while the show airs. Viewers are able to participate in a live chat hosted by Oxygen editors, guest bloggers and the Bad Girls themselves.

Episode five of this season (aired 1/5/10) became the series' and the network's most watched telecast ever among A18-49, W18-34, A18-34, and total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Season four of "Bad Girls Club" brings seven new self-proclaimed "bad girls" together in a beautiful mansion in Los Angeles. These women recognize that their outrageous behavior has hindered their relationships, careers and lives. They have issues with anger, trust and control. In a house full of women with similarly explosive personalities, clashes erupt between roommates and housemates over everything from who's on cleaning duty to where they should go out at night.
