LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- With the TCA Winter Press Tour officially behind us, we thought a recap was in order to give our readers an overview of the flurry of announcements from the past month.

To that end we're offering up 25 capsules - five each day - of our most trafficked cable networks' plans for 2011, plus a look back at the numbers from 2010. Together they should help give you a better idea of their respective performances and goals moving forward.

Paramount to Acquire Warner Bros. Discovery to Form Next-Generation Global Media and Entertainment Company
The transaction has been unanimously approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies and is expected to close in Q3 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory clearances and approval by WBD shareholders, with a vote expected in the early spring of 2026.
