SUPER BOWL CHAMPION GREEN BAY PACKERS GUEST STAR TONIGHT ON WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN AIRS ON SYFY AT 8PM (ET/PT)
NEW YORK - February 11, 2011 - Linebacker Clay Mathews and members of Super Bowl XLV Champion Green Bay Packers will make a special appearance on "Friday Night SmackDown" tonight at 8 PM / 7 PM c on Syfy. Mathews will guest referee the World Heavyweight Championship match. The episode was taped this Tuesday at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI.
WWE will bestow members of the team with their own WWE Championships in front of their hometown fans at the Resch Center. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV. Green Bay Packers have been celebrating touchdowns and big plays by motioning to a title around their waist during the Packers amazing quest to the Super Bowl. Now, Packer players will get their own WWE titles to wear.
"Friday Night SmackDown" can be seen every Friday night at 8 PM / 7 PM c on Syfy.
