New York, NY - February 28, 2011 - Ever wonder how to transform a recycling facility into a design for an over-the-top groom's cake? Or how to turn bridesmaids' dresses into an edible dessert for a bridal shower? Or what it's like to be 21-years-old and owner of your own bakery, where your family also works for you? On Sunday, March 27 at 10pm ET/PT, season four of WE tv's AMAZING WEDDING CAKES brings all this and more, as three new bakeries and a returning favorite mix up fun, flour and fantastical designs in 10 hour-long episodes. Bakeries this season include: The Cake Artist (Staten Island, NY); Gateaux, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN); White Flower Cake Shoppe (Cleveland, OH); and Christopher Garren's Cakes (Orange County, CA).

Who ever said a cake is merely flour and water?! Go behind the counter as each bakery demonstrates their spectrum of skills to create tiers of sugar-infused designs that will make you look twice and furrow your brow in wonder. Each new episode features three bakeries as they fulfill specialty cake orders for weddings, bridal showers, engagements and more. From the first design sketch to the final on-site assembly, no cake is without its share of tense moments, from artistic dilemmas to power outages and dangerous blizzards!

THE CAKE ARTIST - STATEN ISLAND, NY

As the youngest shop owner on AMAZING WEDDING CAKES, 21-year-old Vinny Buzzetta runs The Cake Artist of Staten Island, NY. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute of NYC, he opened up shop two years ago and specializes in innovative uses of flavor and texture. Vinny also puts his mom and cousin to work at the bakery, alongside "go to" gals Sam, Teresa and Jessica. But no one is a bigger supporter than Vinny's boyfriend Spiro, whose mission is to make sure the world knows just how great his cakes are! Highlights include: a topsy-turvy calla lily wedding cake with splashes of red; and a six-tiered crystal quilted black-and-white cake with lots of bling and sparkle.

WHITE FLOWER CAKE SHOPPE - CLEVELAND (BEACHWOOD), OH

Marianne Carroll and Lauren Bozich, co-owners of White Flower Cake Shoppe, have been best friends since the seventh grade. Both went onto art school and it wasn't long before they decided to jump head first together into the business of making wedding cakes. Alongside the help of Marianne's husband, Matt, the duo bring a unique artist's perspective to their creations. With Marianne's background in classic oil painting and Lauren's talent in special effects and sculpting, they push the boundaries of wedding cakes to make some of the most nontraditional and unforgettable designs yet, including: an Italian-themed leaning Tower of Pisa engagement cake; a recycling facility groom's cake to honor the family's business; a snowflake-dangling winter-wonderland cake with a hint of sparkle; a romantic cascading jewels cake; a sparkly, shiny super glam cake covered in bows matching the bride's dress; an ornate pillow-shaped Moroccan-themed engagement cake, and more.

GATEAUX, INC. - MINNEAPOLIS (PLYMOUTH), MN

Photography is not your typical background for a high-end cake designer, but such is the case for Robin Martin of Gateaux, Inc. After working in a photo studio for some time, Robin decided to quit and start her own bakery that specializes in one-of-a-kind wedding cakes. As a self-taught baker and self-proclaimed "O.C.D for hire", Robin's obsessive personality and unique neurosis drive her passion for creating innovative cakes. Alongside the help of assistants Jenna and Julie, "Magic Phil" the engineer and her husband Brian, Gateaux's creations include: bridesmaids' dresses cake replicas for a bridal shower; a "Tale of Three Cities" illuminated skyline cake; a five-tiered shimmering gold cake with purple orchids and rock crystals; a 3-D globe with airplanes for a pair of jet-setting pilots; a giant sandcastle with edible deck chairs and seashells; a grandfather clock paying homage to all the year's days; a possum groom's cake sitting atop a tree trunk with wedding rings attached to his tail, and more.

CHRISTOPHER GARREN'S CAKES - ORANGE COUNTY, CA

A veteran of AMAZING WEDDING CAKES, Christopher Russom of Christopher Garren's Cakes returns along with the help of head decorator Marjie, designer Kristen, baker Juan and interns Junior, Desiree and Kellie. Although the team is settling into a new kitchen and shop, that doesn't slow them down a bit. Requiring a copious amount of blood, sweat and tears, their handcrafted works of art this season include: a rock climbing cake for a rock-climbing groom, complete with rope, tools and a 3-D "climbing" hand; a "Fly Them to the Moon" aerospace-themed cake with a moon and clouds; a koala bear cake with eucalyptus branches; a 3-D chef's feast engagement cake for a pair of "foodies"; an outdoor BBQ picnic cake with dragonflies and dandelions, and more.
