NEW YORK - June 9, 2011 - Bravo courses through the landscape of American pop culture from the perspective of comedian Kathy Griffin as she returns to the stage for her ninth original one-hour comedy special, "Kathy Griffin: Gurrl Down!" premiering on Tuesday, June 22 at 9pm ET/PT. Before a live, sold-old out crowd at The Wilbur Theatre in Boston, the two-time Emmy(R) Award-winner takes comedic aim at everyone from Bill O'Reilly to the Palin family and Kirstie Alley to Michelle Bachman. No one is safe - and neither Charlie Sheen, nor "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" can escape Griffin's laser-focused wit as she takes on any celebrity who stands in her way.

Since 2005, Kathy has performed many successful and award nominated stand-up specials for the network including "Kathy Griffin..Is Not Nicole Kidman," "Strong Black Woman," "Kathy Griffin: Everybody Can Suck It," "Kathy Griffin: Straight To Hell," "Kathy Griffin: She'll Cut a Bitch," "Kathy Griffin: Balls of Steal," "Kathy Griffin Does the Bible Belt." and most recently "Kathy Griffin: Whores on Crutches" Bravo's Emmy(R) Award-winning reality series, "Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List," completed its sixth season last summer.

Rickmill Productions produced "Kathy Griffin: Gurrrl Down" for Bravo. The one-hour comedy special was executive produced by Kimber Rickabaugh, Paul Miller and Kathy Griffin.
