MARBURY VS. MADISON/PERMANENTLY TEMPORARY (HBO, New!) - "Flight of the Conchords" co-creator James Bobin has booked a pair of comedies at the pay channel as part of a first-look deal with the network. "Marbury vs. Madison," written by Bobin, is set in the world of academic rivalry while "Permanently Temporary," from Bobin's sister, actress Joanna Bobin, is billed as "a female inter-generational comedy." Bobin then will executive produce each half-hour via his The Honourable Company of Gentleman Film-Makers banner. Said company recently tapped Paul Roemen as VP of development. (Deadline.com)

(Deadline.com)

Josh Safran ("Gossip Girl") will pen the adaptation and executive produce alongside Bushnell and Mark Gordon for ABC Studios and The Mark Gordon Co. (Variety.com)
SCENT OF THE MISSING (TNT) - The drama, about a search-and-rescue officer who braves the harshest conditions with her best friend and partner, a labrador retriever, has been ordered to pilot by the cable channel.
