LOS ANGELES - October 4, 2011 - It's time to clear out the clutter and spruce up the fall wardrobe because The Style Network is launching an all-new 'Makeover Monday' with "Clean House New York," a spin-off of its popular home makeover series, and the return of the hit fashion intervention show "How Do I Look?" on Monday, October 17. Beginning at 8pm ET/PT, "Clean House New York" will transform the Big Apple's messiest dwellings by creating chic and inviting rooms amidst the hustle and bustle of America's largest city. Introducing top New York designers and former HGTV "Design Star" competitors Nina Ferrer and Michael Moeller as hosts, the new series will combat the Boroughs' untidiest burrows, one interior disaster at a time. Then, at 9pm ET/PT, the special episode "How Do I Look? Worst Dressed in America" jump starts its new season as viewers join fashionista Jeannie Mai on the quest to find the nation's worst fashion offender. Wardrobe mishaps will be taken to a whole new level of faux pas when the ambushed winner is taken to Hollywood for the ultimate makeover and reveal. "Clean House New York" premieres Monday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT followed by "How Do I Look? Worst Dressed in America" at 9:00pm ET/PT on Style. Beginning Monday, October 24, new episodes of "How Do I Look?" will air at 9pm ET/PT.

"Clean House New York" hosts Ferrer and Moeller are joined by savvy appraiser Elyse Luray and renowned auctioneer Duncan Schieb dig through the overwhelming mess to find valuable treasures to appraise and sell to collectors. At the same time, Ferrer and Moeller with their signature humor and tough love approach, get to the bottom of the disorganization problems to give the families a mess-free life. After taking high end items to appraisers, everything worth selling is then offered at a yard sale or auction with the proceeds going towards rejuvenating the homeowner's space with a fabulous makeover by the "Clean House New York" crew.

On the season premiere, airing Monday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT, the "Clean House New York" team comes to the rescue of Brooklynite collectors who are ruining their marriage by blaming each other for their uncontrollable mess at home. Josh and Millie have let their collecting habit turn into a cluttered catastrophe that has undermined the beauty of their brownstone. Mille loves to buy china, silver and vintage designer clothing, while Josh has an out-of-control library of novels and magazines he refuses to discard. On top of that, their two young sons' toys are a source of contention between the couple. The situation has become so dire that their junky apartment could threaten their once loving relationship. Can the team step in and save this marriage from drowning in a world of endless muddle and mayhem?

After cleaning your house... it's time to freshen up your appearance. On the new special episode "How Do I Look? Worst Dressed in America," premiering Monday, October 17 at 9:00pm ET/PT, host Mai and her troop of fashion experts--including celebrity hairstylist Kim Vo and makeup artist Kandee Johnson--scour the nation hunting for the most atrocious clothing-challenged person in the land. From a fairy outfit with wings, to a wholesome streetwalker look, to Renaissance Fair inspired pirate chic complete with a fake parrot, viewers will be shocked by the many candidates who parade their cringe-worthy couture in front of Mai and the panelists. After narrowing the choices down to three candidates, the group travels to Yucaipa, Calif., Largo, Fla., and York, Pa., for unexpected ambushes, glam makeovers and surprising reveals. Each new fashion enthusiast will walk away with a revamped look, renewed confidence and a life changing gift to keep them on the right style track.

New episodes of "How Do I Look?" kick off the following Monday, October 24 at 9:00pm ET/PT. Mai continues to confront fashion disasters with concerned family and friends who have had enough of their loved one's horrible and embarrassing sense of style. With her charming yet honest personality, Mai will help a female football player that wears nothing but jerseys and men's clothing, a Goth-styled nurse that scares her patients and a grandmother that gets into bar fights over her scantily clad getups.
