SUCCESS BEGETS... A SEQUEL!

BELOVED JINGLE THE HUSKY PUP IN AN ALL-NEW ANIMATED STORY, "JINGLE AND BELL'S CHRISTMAS STAR," A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL ANIMATED SPECIAL FOR HOLIDAY 2012

"Jingle All the Way" a Critical Success in 2011; Sequel Ordered; Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" is Bigger Than Ever!

Hallmark Channel announces that the network's Original Animated Special "Jingle and Bell's Christmas Star," sequel to the network's critically acclaimed, first-ever Original Animated Special, "Jingle All the Way" [OAD November 25, 2011], will premiere Holiday 2012.

"Jingle and Bell's Christmas Star" is part of Hallmark Channel's 'COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS,' which features more, true original holiday-themed programming than any other television network.

In "Jingle and Bell's Christmas Star," Jingle the Husky Pup is back in his latest holiday adventure and this time he and his buddy Andrew have some new friends. A little girl named Sofia and her Husky Pup, Bell, have moved from sunny Palm City to Pineville just before Christmas. With their world turned upside down, this looks to them like it could be the worst Christmas ever, but with a little help from Jingle and his pal Andrew, Sofia and Bell will soon discover that Christmas isn't about where you are, it's about who you're with.

This is the second time Hallmark Channel has brought Hallmark Cards product to life in a full-length entertainment production as part of an ongoing, significant partnership from retail to on-air, digital and social media. The Bell Interactive Story Buddy(TM) will be available exclusively in Hallmark Gold Crown stores this holiday season. The Jingle Interactive Story Buddy(TM) will be available in Hallmark Gold Crown and in other stores where Hallmark products are sold.

"Jingle and Bell's Christmas Star" is a Bent Image Lab Production. Jodi Schade, Diana Larson Stuart, Shawn McClaren and Ray Di Carlo are Executive Producers. Tsui Ling Toomer is Producer. Mary Gentry, Kevin Swanson and Angela Nelson are Hallmark Jingle Creative Consultants. Chel White directs from a teleplay by Allan Neuwirth.

* Hallmark Channel's COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS continues a holiday television tradition: the Christmas TV ratings system. The Christmas ratings include: S for Santa, T for Tree-Trimming, J for Joy, F for Family Meal, G for Family Gathering, P for Presents and C for Caring. "Jingle and Bell's Christmas Star" is rated "S" for Santa, "J" for Joy and "P" for Presents. Have a very Hallmark Christmas!
