"The Gossip Game" Premieres Monday, April 1st 9:00 PM ET/PT + "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" Premieres Monday, April 22nd 8:00 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK, April 1, 2013 -- April marks the premiere of the much anticipated, brand new series "The Gossip Game" and the return of the break-out hit "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta."

"The Gossip Game," Monday, April 1st at 9:00 PM ET/PT, draws viewers into the lives of seven media personalities covering the fast-paced, competitive urban entertainment beat in New York City. Every day, these ambitious women navigate the ever-shifting landscape of the media industry, where they strive to preserve their place in the 'pecking order' while chasing the latest exclusive scoop. These rivals, who often find themselves at the epicenter of celebrity controversy, forge an uneasy alliance of friendly foes as they compete to hit their professional marks by being the first to break the latest news and divulge the intimate details of the enviable lives of hip hop's movers and shakers.

The cast members of "The Gossip Game" are: Angela Yee , co-host of the top rated "Breakfast Club" show on Power 105.1; K. Foxx, co-host of "The Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg Show with K. Foxx" on Hot 97 FM; Kim Osorio , Editor-In-Chief of The Source magazine; Sharon Carpenter , reporter on Russell Simmons ' Global Grind website; Jas Fly , freelance writer, whose pop culture column appears on Vibe.com twice a week; Ms. Drama, an outspoken media personality and host of the entertainment news and gossip blog, MsDramaTV, and NYC Gossip Girl ( Vivian Billings ), whose HipHopGossipSite.com blog provides a taste of what the streets are saying along with exclusive dish on hip hop celebrities.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" returns Monday, April 22nd at 8:00 PM ET/PT for a second season along with returning players from season one, Joseline, Stevie J., Mimi, Lil Scrappy, Erica, K.Michelle, Rasheeda, Kirk, Karlie Redd , Momma Dee, Ariane, Benzino and Shay. New to the Dirty South mix are DJ and radio personality Traci Steele and DJ BabyDrew, Traci's ex and father of their son Little Drew.

Stevie J., once a mega-successful producer in the hip hop community, was on top of the world, having made millions. But mismanagement of funds and misplaced trust brought him to the brink of losing everything. This season, Stevie reclaims his groove and is grooming his protege and lover Joseline Hernandez to become a superstar. While Stevie is poised for a career comeback, friction between his romance with Joseline and his unresolved issues with Mimi Faust , his longtime girlfriend and mother to his child create a precarious situation and threaten his success.

Dirty South rapper Lil Scrappy proposed to Erica Dixon in the Season One Reunion Episode, and is now trying to settle into being a straight up family man. However, troubles loom on all fronts as Momma Dee will stop at nothing to silence future wedding bells.

K.Michelle is a talented songbird whose volatile history has made her infamous on gossip sites. Not one to bite her tongue or go down without a fight, her antics left her without a recording deal for a few years. Now, K. Michelle has risen from the ashes like a phoenix, and is embarking on a five album venture with Warner/Atlantic. With a big-time label once again behind her, will K. Michelle be able to both speak her truth and keep the peace?

Rasheeda, a hometown favorite, is an Atlanta rapper who's been in the game for fifteen years. The certified " Georgia Peach " is managed by her husband, Kirk Frost , and the two are enjoying career success. After renewing their vows at the end of season one, Rasheeda and Kirk epitomized a loving partnership. But marriage is hard work. Will the couple be able to juggle all the challenges coming their way both personally and professionally?

Former flames Benzino and Karlie Redd still find themselves entangled as it seems that a crack in the Stevie J/Benz "bromance" are all down to Karlie.

Shay's relationship with Scrappy ended in a dramatic fashion. She was forced to witness the ultimate betrayal ... a proposal at the reunion. Will Momma Dee intervene to bring Scrappy and Shay together again?

In addition to these familiar faces, season two sees the addition of self-proclaimed power EX-couple, Traci Steele and BabyDrew, who both hold high profile gigs as DJs. Traci rocks prime-time on Atlanta's hottest hip-hop station, and BabyDrew tours the world with Chris Brown . Together they co-parent their son, Little Drew. Never married, these two can't live without each other - yet rarely do they see eye to eye. When they decide to pool their savings and open a designer sneaker boutique, the tension mounts. Is the promise of reward greater than the risks involved?

"The Gossip Game" is executive produced by Brian Flanagan , Matthew Ostrom , Laura Palumbo Johnson and Sean Lee for Magilla Entertainment, with Tom Ciaccio serving as co-executive producer. Also executive producing are Tone Boots and Jay Griffin for District Media and Mona Scott-Young for Monami Entertainment.
