Due to a Listings Error by FX Publicity, the Final Seven Minutes of the Episode Were Cut Off on Subscriber's DVRs

The Episode, "Safe House," Will Be Available on the FX Website Until May 15, 2013

Next Week's Episode, "Only You," Will Air on April 10 from 10:00-11:03PM ET/PT

LOS ANGELES, April 4, 2013 - FX will post the most recent episode of The Americans (aired on Wednesday, April 3) on www.FXnetworks.com for encore online viewing due to an error by its publicity department (http://vod.fxnetworks.com/watch/theamericans/24079939847)

Last night's ninth episode of The Americans, "Safe House," aired from 10:00 to 11:07 PM ET/PT. The correct listings information was not properly disseminated to television listings services that provide information to media outlets, cable and satellite providers. As a result of the error, electronic guides which trigger the run times of DVRs incorrectly recorded the total running time of one hour (10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT), therefore cutting off the final seven minutes of the episode.

"The error is regrettable and I apologize to all the loyal fans of The Americans who were cheated out of the full viewing experience of one of the most important episodes so far this season," said John Solberg, Senior Vice President of Media Relations, FX Networks. "Unfortunately mistakes happen and this happened to be a very unfortunate time for this kind of mistake. I hope the viewers whose DVRs failed to capture the final seven minutes of the episode will take advantage of the opportunity to watch the encore run on FXNetworks.com and see the spectacular ending."

Episode 9 - "Safe House" (Aired April 3, 10:00 PM ET/PT) - Philip and Elizabeth are put to the test when a routine mission goes horribly wrong. Stan and the FBI are pushed to their limit when one of their own goes missing. Written by Joshua Brand; directed by Jim McKay.

Next week's episode "Only You" (Episode 10) airs April 10, 10:00-11:03 PM ET/PT - Stan pursues a lead that puts him on the trail to one of Gregory's crew members, closing the gap between him and Elizabeth, and reigniting some of the deepest conflicts between her and Philip. Written by Bradford Winters; directed by Adam Arkin.
