THE TEST, a syndicated conflict resolution talk show from Jay McGraw's Stage 29 Productions, is now sold in over 90% of the country, including 49 of the top 50 markets.
Ciano joins McGraw and Carla Pennington as executive producer.
"Patty's broad experience and keen sensibilities make her the perfect choice to join our team," McGraw said. "She brings a vast knowledge of this proven format, and we look forward to working with her as we introduce this unique program to viewers."
Ciano is a veteran daytime producer, who most recently launched and executive produced the syndicated talk show "The Jeremy Kyle Show." Hosted by performer Kirk Fox (Parks and Recreation, Forgetting Sarah Marshall), THE TEST is a one-hour conflict resolution talk show that will use lie detector and DNA tests to settle relationship and paternity disputes among the guests. It will be produced by McGraw's Stage 29 Productions, which also produces the Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show THE DOCTORS.
THE TEST will launch with Tribune Broadcasting's 17 stations as the anchor group in major markets, including the top three: WPIX, New York; KTLA, Los Angeles; and WGN, Chicago. Tribune is also a partner in production of the show.
