HEY NEW BEST FRIEND!

JILLIAN BELL AND CHARLOTTE NEWHOUSE STAR IN "IDIOTSITTER"

SERIES PREMIERE ON COMEDY CENTRAL'S(R) CC:STUDIOS ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26

NEW YORK, February 20, 2014 - Find out what happens when a cash-strapped Harvard grad is roped into supervising an heiress on house arrest when "Idiotsitter" has its series premiere on Comedy Central's CC:Studios on Wednesday, February 26.

Created by Charlotte Newhouse and Jillian Bell ("Workaholics"), "Idiotsitter" follows Billie, a straight-and-narrow young woman (Newhouse) who is hired to babysit Gene, a mega-rich womanchild (Bell) under house arrest in her daddy's mansion.

In the premiere episode, Billie meets her unconventional charge, as well as Gene's father and stepmother. The six-episode season also features Stephen Root ("Boardwalk Empire") as Gene's permissive and oblivious dad, Elizabeth De Razzo ("Eastbound & Down") as the put-upon housekeeper, and T.J. Miller ("The Goodwin Games") as Gene's "forever friend" Chet.

Bell and Newhouse met while members of the Groundlings and are currently writing a film for MGM, tentatively titled "Let's Get Married," which is the story of a couple who find themselves in an arranged marriage. A former writer for "Saturday Night Live," Bell currently stars in Comedy Central's "Workaholics" and recently completed shooting "22 Jump Street" alongside Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. Newhouse's additional credits include "The Big Bang Theory." "Idiotsitter" is directed by Jeff Tomsic.
