New York, NY - March 10, 2014 - This spring, comedian, writer and podcaster Marc Maron is bringing his world of problems, attempts at redemption and brood of cats back to IFC for 13 new half-hour episodes of his comedy series Maron. Revolving around Marc's life and his successful WTF podcast (www.wtfpod.com), each episode lays bare the misguided attempts of a man who is trying to grow, but often finds himself asking, "We good?" Maron season two premieres May 8 at 10:00pm ET/PT on IFC.

In this new season things appear to be looking up for Marc, yet he continues to sabotage his professional, romantic and personal relationships. His dysfunctional family is taken to new "highs" when the entire clan is forced to co-exist in the same house for the first time in decades, and Marc's closest companionship ends when his beloved cat Boomer goes missing. This next chapter proves that the more things change in Marc's life, the more they stay the same.

Some of the guest stars adding to Maron's problems in and out of the garage this season include Bill Burr (Breaking Bad, The Heat), Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart), David Cross (Arrested Development, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret), Joey "Coco" Diaz (Grudge Match, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Paul Feig (Director of The Heat and Bridesmaids, Creator of Freak and Geeks), Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead, @midnight), Rachael Harris (The Hangover), Michael Ian Black (The State, Burning Love), Moshe Kasher (Moshe Kasher: Live in Oakland), Tom Kenny (Voice of SpongeBob SquarePants, Adventure Time), Johnny Knoxville (Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa),Dave Koechner (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues), Tig Notaro (Professor Blastoff podcast, comedy album Live),Conan O'Brien (Conan), Jimmy Pardo (Never Not Funny podcast), Eddie Pepitone (The Bitter Buddha, Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell), Caroline Rhea (Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Phineas and Ferb), Andy Richter (Conan), Richard Riehle (Mob City, The Mindy Project), Rob Riggle (21 Jump Street, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart), Ray Romano (Parenthood, Everybody Loves Raymond), Sarah Silverman (Wreck-It Ralph, The Sarah Silverman Program), Nora Zehetner (Mad Men, Grey's Anatomy) and many more.

Returning this season is Judd Hirsch (Ordinary People, Damages, This Must Be the Place) as Marc's scheming father, Sally Kellerman (MASH) as his passive aggressive and self-absorbed mother, Andy Kindler (Bob's Burgers, Everybody Loves Raymond) as close friend and Josh Brener (The Internship, Silicon Valley) as his overly eager assistant. Joining this close-knit circle is comedian and fellow podcaster Dave Anthony (Walking The Room podcast) who adds a fresh layer of complication to Marc's chaotic life.

Marc Maron is the creator, executive producer and writer of Maron. Apostle's Denis Leary and Jim Serpico are also executive producers, along with Michael Jamin, Sivert Glarum, Duncan Birmingham and Olivia Wingate. Tom Sellitti and Robert Cohen are co-executive producers. Maron is produced for IFC by Fox Television Studios. Series directors include Marc Maron, Robert Cohen, Bobcat Goldthwait and Academy Award(R)-winner Luke Matheny.
