CLIMB ABOARD THE "HOME SWEET BUS" IN NEW TLC SPECIAL
The Allen family sings their way to TLC on Tuesday, October 28th at 10/9c
NEW YORK - TLC hits the road with the musical and mobile Allen family as they perform across the country and live in their home on wheels in HOME SWEET BUS. On Tuesday, October 28th at 10/9c, viewers get an inside look at this enormous brood - Todd and Michelle, their five sons, three daughters, one daughter-in-law and twin toddler grandkids - as they live their life full-time on a 360-sq.ft bus. Todd and Michelle felt a higher calling to perform faith-based shows on the road and have been traveling for more than 17 years - singing shows almost every night and giving birth to eight kids along the way. The special follows the family singing, writing songs, performing and spending most of their time on the bus.
The bus is equipped with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, master bedroom and sleeping berths for all. Living together 24/7 in a contained space can become frustrating for even the tightest-knit families, but the Allens have it down to a science. From getting ready for shows to making dinner for thirteen, they try to stay positive and loving throughout the process. When they are not performing, Michelle homeschools the younger children, and every family member has a chore to keep their living space clean and tidy. With their bus overflowing with family, faith and love, thirteen might be a crowd, but for the Allen brood, it is never a burden.
HOME SWEET BUS is produced by Stiletto Television.
