VICTORIA JUSTICE AND RYAN MCCARTEN CAST AS SWEETHEARTS JANET AND BRAD IN "THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW"

REEVE CARNEY JOINS CAST AS RIFF RAFF; STAZ NAIR TO PLAY ROCKY

Two-Hour Event Set to Air Fall 2016 on FOX

Actress and recording artist Victoria Justice ("Victorious") and Ryan McCarten ("Liv & Maddie," "Heathers the Musical") have been cast as "Janet Weiss" and "Brad Majors" in THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, which is set to shoot this winter and air Fall 2016 on FOX.

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW follows sweethearts Janet (Justice) and Brad (McCarten), who stumble upon Dr. Frank-N-Furter's (Emmy Award-nominated actress Laverne Cox) bizarre abode. Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous, flirtatious alien mad-scientist, is holding an annual, Transylvanian science convention to showcase the birth of "Rocky Horror" - a fit, attractive man created solely to fulfill Frank's desires. Actor and singer Staz Nair will star in the role.

Reeve Carney ("Penny Dreadful," "Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark,") has been cast as "Riff Raff," one of Dr. Frank-N-Furter's loyal servants. Carney originated the role of "Peter Parker/Spider-Man" in the smash Broadway production "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark," under the direction of Julie Taymor, with music by U2's Bono and The Edge. Additional cast members to be announced.

Executive-produced by Lou Adler (Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee), Gail Berman (TV, film and Broadway producer) and Kenny Ortega ("High School Musical" franchise, "This Is It," "Descendants," "Hocus Pocus," "Newsies"), the two-hour event is a reimagining of the cult classic, which is celebrating 40 years of theatrical distribution - longer than any other film in history. One of the most popular films of all time, it still plays in movie theaters around the world.

Victoria Justice is a versatile actress and recording artist. The 22-year-old, originally from Hollywood, FL, stars as "Naomi" in the indie romantic comedy "Naomi + Ely's No Kiss List," which is available now on iTunes. She next stars as "Jodi" in the upcoming high school comedy "The Outskirts," based on a script from last year's Black List of the best unproduced screenplays. She also recently starred as "Lindy" in the cable series "Eye Candy," a cyber-thriller based on R.L. Stine's best-seller. Justice starred in her own hit cable series, "Victorious," as the musically talented "Tori Vega," who unexpectedly finds herself navigating life as a student at an elite performing arts high school. "Victorious" won the award for Favorite TV Show at the "Kids' Choice Awards" in 2012 and 2013. Justice also is a successful recording artist, selling more than three million singles. Her vocal talents are showcased on the "Victorious" soundtracks, the first of which debuted at No. 5 on the Top 200 charts. Her feature film credits include "The First Time" and "Fun Size." Television credits include "iCarly" and "Zoey 101," as well as guest appearances on "Undateable," "The Penguins of Madagascar," "The Troop," "Everwood," "Gilmore Girls" and the upcoming FOX comedy COOPER BARRETT'S GUIDE TO SURVIVING LIFE. Justice has been nominated for multiple TEEN CHOICE and "Kids' Choice" awards, as well as an NAACP Image Award, an ALMA award and an Imagen Foundation award. She continues to keep up her social media influence with more than 29 million followers.

Ryan McCartan is best known as recurring character "Diggie" on cable's "Liv & Maddie." He also starred in the films "Summer Forever" and "The Cabinet of Souls," and will next be seen in "The Stand-Off," playing the lead role opposite Olivia Holt. His television credits include "Royal Pains," "Monday Mornings," "Last Man Standing" and "The Middle." In addition, he received rave reviews as "JD" in "Heathers The Musical" at the New World Stages. McCartan and his "Liv & Maddie" co-star, Dove Cameron, recently formed the band The Girl And the Dream Catcher, and McCartan's solo music career launched earlier this year with the release of his first single, "You Can't Unlove Me," and his first album "Heart Attack." As an alumnus of the YoungArts Program, McCartan was invited to guest-appear on both "Masterclass with Bobby McFerrin" and "Masterclass with Patti Lupone." McCartan hails from Excelsior, MN, where he learned the craft of acting, working extensively on several of the leading stages in the country, including The Guthrie Theater, the Children's Theatre Company, the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, The Old Log Theater and The Great American History Theatre. Reeve Carney can currently be seen as "Dorian Gray" in the critically acclaimed cable series "Penny Dreadful." He also fronts the rock band Carney, whose debut album "Mr. Green Vol. 1," is out now on DAS Label/Interscope.

Actor and singer Staz Nair is a rising star from the United Kingdom, who will next be seen in "Game of Thrones," opposite Emilia Clarke.

Lou Adler executive-produced "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" for Twentieth Century Fox, which premiered on September 26, 1975, and is the longest-running movie in motion picture history. Adler met Gail Berman in 2004. Berman shared his passion and vision for the reimagined version of the 40-year-old cult-classic and, in 2014, they partnered to begin development.

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW is from Fox 21 Television Studios and The Jackal Group. Adler and Berman, along with Kenny Ortega, will serve as executive producers. Emmy Award winner Kenny Ortega will also direct and choreograph. "Like" THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW on Facebook at facebook.com/RockyHorrorFOX.
