SHOWTIME(R) RELEASES NEW POSTER ART AND FIRST LOOK AT SEASON FIVE FOR ITS HIT COMEDY "HOUSE OF LIES"

Season Five Premieres On Sunday, April 10th At 9 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK - February 19, 2016 - SHOWTIME has released the new poster art and first look at the fifth season for its critically-acclaimed and award-winning comedy HOUSE OF LIES, which will premiere Sunday, April 10th at 9 p.m. ET/PT across all platforms. The series stars Don Cheadle, in his Golden Globe(R)-winning and Emmy(R)-nominated role as Marty Kaan, a man with a singular focus - ascending from millionaire mogul to global dominator. This season, HOUSE OF LIES is Havana-bound, marking the first time an American scripted series has been filmed in the country since the U.S. and Cuba restored diplomatic relations last summer.

No longer content with fleecing big-money clients, Marty (Cheadle) is upping the stakes in a highly calculated winner-take-all power play that will land him and the Pod - Jeannie (Kristen Bell), Clyde (Emmy winner Ben Schwartz) and Doug (Josh Lawson) - in Cuba. To the victor go all the spoils. Business is booming but, on the home front, he's juggling a new baby daughter, teenage son Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.) and Jeremiah (Glynn Turman), who has a new girlfriend, Rita (guest star Emmy winner Wanda Sykes). Additional guest stars for the fifth season include Emmy nominee Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele), Emmy nominee Ken Marino (Children's Hospital), Emmy nominee Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show), John Cho (Star Trek), Donald Faison (Scrubs), and Nicky Whelan (Matador, Hall Pass). From the hit tell-all book House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time by Martin Kihn, produced by SHOWTIME, HOUSE OF LIES is created and executive produced by Matthew Carnahan. Jessika Borsiczky, Don Cheadle and David Walpert return as executive producers for season five.
