TLC'S SERIES "I AM JAZZ" HONORED AT 2016 GLAAD Media Awards
Wins GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program
Los Angeles, CA - TLC's I AM JAZZshares the honor with the series I AM CAIT in a rare tie for the Outstanding Reality Program award at the 2016 GLAAD Media Awards.
The groundbreaking series I AM JAZZ returns to TLC for a second season on June 8th and will continue to follow the life of 15-year-old Jazz as she balances school, sports, family, and more, documenting her triumphs and struggles from the perspective of a transgender teen.
This is the first nomination and win for the series. It is also a first nomination for TLC in the Outstanding Reality Program category.

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives.
The Awards were presented on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016, at a ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast on Logo on Monday April 4th at 10pm ET.
