ESQUIRE NETWORK CELEBRATES DADS EVERYWHERE WITH TWO-HOUR "AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR FATHER'S DAY SPECIAL" AIRING SUNDAY, JUNE 19TH AT 9:00PM ET/PT

Los Angeles, CA - June 15, 2016 - Esquire Network celebrates Father's Day with an action-packed two-hour special featuring "American Ninja Warrior's" most memorable stories of fathers and sons and their quest to conquer the famous course from the past eight seasons. From dads who have overcome incredible obstacles to fathers who proudly stand on the sidelines as their children fulfill their dreams, Esquire Network says thank you to dads everywhere with "American Ninja Warrior Father's Day Special" on Sunday, June 19th starting at 9:00pm ET/PT.

This two-hour program will feature 16 remarkable runs that involve dads and relive their stories. Celebrate the first person to ever complete the "American Ninja Warrior" course, Geoff Britten, as he accomplished amazing feats with his wife and daughter cheering him on from the sidelines. Reflect on the joy that Grant McCartney felt when his former NFL football dad, whose success he always felt like he had to live up to, proudly rooted him on during his run. Re-watch Jon Alexis Sr and Jon Alexis Jr's impressive father/son run. And pay homage to Michael Stanger who ran the course with his terminally ill wife and their small child supporting him from the sidelines. These moments, and many others, are ones that all fathers can be proud of.

Now in season 8, "American Ninja Warrior" has captured the hearts and minds of people around the globe. The series is a co-production between NBC and Esquire Network with Esquire Network airing encore presentations of each episode the night after NBC. The success of "American Ninja Warrior" launched "Team Ninja Warrior," the hit spin-off series for Esquire Network. The debut episode of "Team Ninja Warrior" set records as the most watched series premiere with A18-49 in Esquire Network history. Currently the season overall ranks as Esquire Network's most watched original series in network history with Total Viewers and most-watched debut season with A18-49. Most recently, Esquire Network announced a 16-episode second season of "Team Ninja Warrior" which includes five special "Team Ninja Warrior: College Edition" (wt) episodes.
