VH1 ENLISTS REAL-LIFE TALK SHOW PROS ON UPCOMING SCRIPTED SERIES "DAYTIME DIVAS" SET FOR SPRING 2017 PREMIERE

STAR JONES, TAMERA MOWRY-HOUSLEY AND THE CO-HOSTS OF "THE VIEW" TO GUEST STAR

ADDITIONAL GUEST STARS ANNOUNCED FOR SERIES INSPIRED BY STAR JONES' BOOK SATAN'S SISTERS... A NOVEL OF FICTION

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 13, 2017) - VH1 today announced a plethora of guest stars joining "Daytime Divas," including Star Jones, Tamera Mowry-Housley ("The Real") and the co-hosts of "The View," including Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Jedediah Bila and Sara Haines. Additional guest stars include Richard T. Jones ("American Horror Story"), Tammy Blanchard ("Talulah") and Ness Bautista ("Sense8"). The network announced that the series will premiere later this Spring.

The previously announced cast of "Daytime Divas" includes Vanessa Williams ("Ugly Betty"), Tichina Arnold ("Survivor's Remorse"), Chloe Bridges ("The Carrie Diaries"), Camille Guaty ("Scorpion"), Fiona Gubelmann ("Wilfred") and McKinley Freeman ("Hit The Floor"). Previous announced guest stars include Kristen Johnston ("3rd Rock from the Sun"), Norm Lewis ("Scandal"), Patti LaBelle, Eve ("Barbershop" franchise), Kelly Osbourne ("The Osbournes"), Tasha Smith ("Empire"), La La Anthony ("Power"), Rob Estes ("Major Crimes"), Scott Evans ("Looking"), Debby Ryan ("Jessie") and Janet Mock.

Every weekday at noon, Maxine (Vanessa Williams), Mo (Tichina Arnold), Heather (Fiona Gubelmann), Kibby (Chloe Bridges), and Nina (Camille Guaty) - hosts of "The Lunch Hour," the long-running women's talk show - gather around the table to discuss life, love, politics, and juicy gossip. But behind the scenes, it's even juicier - a backstage world filled with power struggles, diva fits, and steamy affairs. Inspired by the book Satan's Sisters... A Novel of Fiction by Star Jones, television personality, lawyer and journalist.

Star Jones will play herself. Star and Nina (Camille Guaty) cross paths in a gifting suite and Nina quickly learns who's boss.

Tamera Mowry-Housley will play a friend of Mo's (Tichina Arnold) who gives her some career advice.

The cast of "The View," including Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Jedediah Bila and Sara Haines will play themselves. The behind-the-scenes drama of "The Lunch Hour" makes the news and everyone is talking about it, including the ladies at "The View."

Richard T. Jones will play Ben Branson, a sexy charismatic real estate mogul who is set up on a blind date with Maxine.

Tammy Blanchard will play Sheree Ainsley, Kibby's (Chloe Bridges) scheming mother. Sheree put Kibby into show business when Kibby was very young, and has dined off Kibby's paychecks and celebrity ever since.

Ness Bautista will play Andrew Weller, Nina's husband and a rising politician who is about to begin a campaign for Congress. While Andrew appears smart and grounded, those aren't the only traits that got him to the top.

"Daytime Divas" was developed for television by Amy Engelberg and Wendy Engelberg who also executive produce along with showrunners, Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler ("Awkward," "90210"), Josh Berman ("Drop Dead Diva," "CSI"), Star Jones, Suzanne de Passe ("The Temptations," "Lonesome Dove"), Madison Jones and Susan Levison.
