Producers Den of Thieves and Director Sandra Restrepo Considine are Set for Fifth Anniversary Radio Disney Music Awards

Den of Thieves, the production company that has brought audiences some of the biggest moments in live event television, returns for the third consecutive year for the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA). Sandra Restrepo Considine, who most recently directed the multiplatform live music series "Wonderland," joins the RDMA creative team. Ignjatovic, Prager and Restrepo Considine will mark RDMA's fifth anniversary with an incredible show for viewers, accessible across multiple platforms including Disney Channels Worldwide, Radio Disney network and digital and social platforms.

Jesse Ignjatovic and Evan Prager of Den of Thieves will serve as the show's executive producers. Best known for live event shows, non-scripted storytelling and scripted television, Den of Thieves' credits include ABC's recently announced "The Gong Show" revival, and multiple awards shows and specials, including "MTV Video Music Awards," "MTV Movie Awards," "iHeartRadio Music Awards," "CMT Music Awards" and Comedy Central's "Key & Peele Super Bowl Special."

Sandra Restrepo Considine is the first female director of the RDMA and is no stranger to live music events. She directed the first live televised musical performance from Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway sensation "Hamilton" during last year's Grammy Awards, as well as MTV's weekly, live music series "Wonderland" that brought some of the top recording artists together for a multiplatform live music experience each week. Restrepo Considine also served as the show director on over 250 episodes of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Restrepo Considine is directing this year's Grammy Awards premiere ceremony on February 12, featuring performances and awards presentations.

Fans from around the world can begin voting for their favorite artists to take home an "ARDY" beginning FRIDAY, MARCH 3, through Sunday, April 9. Last year, a record 238 million votes were tallied across five polling platforms: the Radio Disney App, Disney.com/RDMA, Twitter, Facebook and Google OneBox. Tickets to attend the 2017 RDMA will also go on sale FRIDAY, MARCH 3 at AXS.com/RDMA.

The 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards take place Saturday, April 29, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The special two-hour telecast, "Disney Channel Presents the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards," will premiere Sunday, April 30 (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT), across multiple Disney-branded platforms.

Now in its fifth year, the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards are known as music's biggest event for families with performances and appearances by today's biggest artists and tomorrow's rising stars. The 2017 RDMA will be hosted by Grammy Award nominee Kelsea Ballerini, Broadway's "Hamilton" star and Hollywood Records recording artist Jordan Fisher, Disney's "Descendants" star and Hollywood Records/Republic Records recording artist Sofia Carson, Interscope Records recording artist and Radio Disney host Alex Aiono, and Disney Channel star Jenna Ortega ("Stuck in the Middle").
